So after the garden club we entered the next town on the route,
Ruppur. We passed the 13K marker right before slithering like a
snake over an overpass spanning the main highway through town. Ruppur
is about a 5 minute drive from where I was stationed in the U.S.
Army in the 1980's. I used to visit friends on this very same street
where they had an apartment during this time period.

So after the overpass we took a left and started running over a
cobblestone street towards the edge of town. I remember running
on the sidewalk to avoid the hard streets. Luckily the route again
turned to asphalt as we left town. Here is on of the churches in
Ruppur that we passed.
